Dr. Tiso is originally from New Jersey which explains why he likes the New York Giants so much. He moved to Hampton Roads during early childhood.
He attended undergraduate school at Bridgewater College in the Shenandoah Valley where he played football and ran track. His background in athletics drove his aspiration to be in the healthcare field. An internship with a local Chiropractor helped to direct that aspiration.
All throughout his life Dr. Tiso has displayed a serving spirit which makes Chiropractic the perfect field. It is one of the few fields of healthcare where the doctor directly helps patients with a hands-on approach. Dr. Tiso attended Sherman College of Chiropractic where he studied the Gonstead Method of Chiropractic. This is a very specific, safe and effective form of Chiropractic that tends to get better results than any other method, with longer lasting effects.
Dr. Tiso has been practicing in the field of Chiropractic since 2011..
Dr. Tiso lives in Virginia Beach with his wife Ashley.

Karen Earls, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist

I discovered massage therapy later in life. I’d never even had a professional massage until I was in my late 30’s. Even then, I didn’t consider it as a career choice - I was too busy working in the financial industry. Then someone introduced me to Reiki, which still isn’t massage, but is such a quiet, powerful way of healing that I wanted to start sharing it with the world. I lived in Florida at the time, where a license to touch is required if you want to practice Reiki as a business. To get a license to touch, I could go to nursing school or massage school. Since I’m not fond of blood, my choice was clear. From the first day of Anatomy and Physiology I knew I’d found a new path and I was eager to follow it through. Along with Reiki, I learned massage styles including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and Thai. I graduated in 2010 and completed my Reiki Master training in 2011. After graduating I added certification in Nurturing the Mother (Prenatal and Postpartum); Bamboo Fusion; Lymphatic Detox; and Integrative Reflexology. Since embarking on this new path, I feel I have changed and grown in ways I never imagined. I look forward to meeting each new client and love seeing my return clients as they begin to relax, breathe, and heal.
Karen lives in Gloucester with her family and kitties.
